Excellent book that explains the manager’s role as they move into new managerial positions and what is expected in each role though out a manager’s career.

 

Leadership Presence, Belle Linda Halpern and Kathy Lubar.
Very informative book on the importance of being an effective leader and gives great exercises as you improve your presence as a leader.

 

Quiet Leadership, David Rock.

Explores a six step model to improve leading others in the areas of problem solving, decision making, giving feedback and expands the model to cover teens, children and entire organizations.
